Had my hands around your hands all day, cause I’m obsessive in the worst way. To see me acting like a downer probably seems strange, but everybody has their off days (and mine’s today). And I don’t mind when you’re unkind. I just wanted you to stay and change my life. But things are always in your way, so I will go underground and I will stay there because sometimes life just ain’t fair. I’ve been second guessing every move that I make, every chord I write or every song that I sing. It felt nice to have some concrete under my feet, now you’re gonna pull it all away (well not today). I cannot keep complaining, everyone will go away if I’m the one who’s pushing them, if I’m the one that’s refusing to change. I don’t even mind when you’re unkind.
